Microsoft Sidewinder Game Voice

As a small child in grade school I used to hate writing by hand. My hand
would get tired and sore and as my hand would get tired my writing quality
began to suffer. I used to wish there was some kind of device that would
allow me to easily type and fix what I wanted to write. This was back in the
day before computers were common place and typewriters were tough for a
young kid to use.

As computers became more commonplace, and my parents broke down to buy that
IBM 8088, I was in heaven. My dreams were fulfilled! Since then I have
always had at least one computer in the house. Not only could I type instead
of writing by hand but I discovered games. From Pac-Man to Sacrifice I loved
games.

Keeping this in mind I was at one of my local computer stores when I noticed a new gaming device, the Microsoft Sidewinder Game Voice. It has been out for a few months already but I picked it up to see exactly what the thing did. The box claimed I could replace all my current game keyboard commands with vocal commands. WHAT?? No more keys to learn? Right there in the isle just I tilted by head back and began to drool like a fourteen year old boy who found his older brother's porn video collection. With this single device I
would no longer be required to type in keyboard commands while gaming, which
could easily remove any semblance of exercise from my life. After this
realization hit me I clutched the box tightly to my chest with both hands
and walked swiftly to the checkout counter. If this device could do what it
claimed it was well worth the inexpensive price the store was asking.
